On Friday the 23rd August 2019, FC Lawyers supported and raised funds for the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day.

What is Daffodil Day?

Daffodil Day is the Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved annual campaign that raises life-saving funds for world-class cancer research that affects so many people throughout Australia.

It’s a time of hope; where we come together to show our support for the 145,000 Australians diagnosed with cancer each year.

How did FC Lawyers raise funds for the Cancer Council QLD?

Together our two offices (Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast) purchased bunches of Daffodils directly from the Cancer Council, which were delivered and displayed throughout the offices. At the end of the day, we sold the bunches for extra donation money to the cause to help with the on-going cancer research.

Our lovely team member Yvonne, spent endless hours creating and baking goods for our team to enjoy which required a gold coin donation to have. As you can see from the photos below, the team donated quicky and got their hands on some of the delicious food offerings. The offices would like to thank Yvonne for creating such a variety of food to help raise extra funds for the Cancer Council and Daffodil Day in 2019.

The teams were proud to support Daffodil Day again in 2019 and have supported the Cancer Council since 2017. You can see our last years efforts here. Joining in with our offices were our neighbours in Kon-Tiki Business Centre, Triple Zero Property and DBA Property.

We encourage everyone to donate to the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day via their website as we all look to find a cure to this terrible disease that affects so many people in many ways.
