On Saturday 10th August, Chloe Kopilovic from FC Lawyers joined with Brent Higgins (Ray White Mooloolaba), Brett Barton (Verified Business), Sue Mason-Baker (Sunshine Hospice), Jo Saxelby (To Hold & To Have), Bruce Swan (BDO), Brent Mickelberg MP (Member for Buderim), Steve Bradshaw (HiReach Kunda Park) and Hamish McMichael (Kaizen) to raise funds to build a 6 bed hospice in Buderim providing end-of-life care for the Sunshine Coast Community.
Together the bosses were lifted 30 feet into the air and weren’t allowed to come back down until they had reached their personal fundraising goal. Featured below are some photos of Chloe and the other bosses during the Hang Ya Boss Out To Dry Fundraiser:
After completing the fundraising event, Chloe stated “it was a very fun event that showed great community spirit on the Sunshine Coast. We achieved our fundraising goals and had a lot of fun whilst helping out a very worthy cause.”
Chloe would like to thank all those who supported her on the Saturday as she phoned around and spoke with pledgers on the day.
We would also like to thank media partners (92.7 MixFM and Hot 91.1) who were able to attend and promote the event through their radio stations on the Sunshine Coast. You can see more information on the event, including an interview by Frank Lewins, Chairman of Sunshine Hospice, covered by Hot 91.1 here.
If you would like to know more information on Sunshine Hospice, please visit their website here. If you missed out on the Saturday and want to donate, you still can to this wonderful cause by pledging online via the Sunshine Hospice Hang Ya Boss Out To Dry website.
Chloe and the team at FC Lawyers look forward to the progression of the hospice development and will be sure to update everyone with any advancements of the proposed site.
