During the 2-5 September, Glenn Ferguson and Chloe Kopilovic attended the 2019 Australasian Council of Women and Policing Conference at the National Convention Centre in Canberra, ACT.
Throughout the days, Glenn and Chloe attended many speaking and learning events that highlighted the great work that our police forces and emergency services throughout Australia do on a daily basis. Glenn and Chloe were blown away and amazed about the inspirational stories of women protecting our community.
The special guests that were invited and presented to the ACWAP Conference included Commissioner Cressida Dick CBE QPM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigation and Intelligence) Florence Chua Siew Lian, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Executive Assistant Director Amy Hess, Virgina Haussegger AM, Australian Federal Police Culture and Inclusion Adviser Abby Mcleod, Detective Sergeant Grace Calma, Tactical Commander Mark Usback, Deborah Kennedy, Kerrie Yaxley, Terri Irwin, Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin.
For the past eight years, FC Lawyers have been proud to sponsor the Bev Lawson Memorial Award, who Glenn had the honor of serving with when he was a young police officer.
