In 2002 the Shack was pioneered to partner with the Nambour community to assist with its young people. From those humble abandoned butcher shop facilities to its current position at 19 Price St Nambour, the Shack has established itself as a significant thread in the fabric of the community. We are still privileged to connect with many young people but have broadened our base to reaching the needs of all ages.
Beth Fitzpatrick, Migration Services Manager and Registered Migration Agent at FC Lawyers, organised a Christmas donation from our team members to assist with those struggling throughout the Christmas period.
Our donations (pictured below) were picked up by the great volunteers at The Shack Community Centre in Nambour, who will distribute the donations to families in need over the upcoming Christmas season.
Our team were very proud to do something that may have impacted someone else’s life in a positive way.
We wish everyone from The Shack a Merry Christmas and look forward to assisting in the future with their donations and programs.
