The College of Law (COL) was honoured to welcome delegates from 18 different countries to the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law annual conference – Bribery and Corruption: Modern Approaches to an Eternal Problem.

The COL is a proud sponsor of this year’s conference and hosted the delegate welcome function at the Brisbane campus.

The event was attended by the Hon Mark Ryan, Minister for Police and Minister for Corrective Services who is a former lawyer and an alumnus of the College of Law and Commissioner Katarina Carroll APM, Queensland’s first female Police Commissioner who was sworn in on the same day.

The event was also attended by Australian and international members of the judiciary, senior members of the Queensland Police Service and legal practitioners from across the globe.
