BULA!

During a recent trip to Fiji, former USC Rugby player Patrick McKeering visited a local village and donated existing rugby jerseys from the USC Rugby club. Pictured below are the local Fijian rugby team wearing and enjoying the donated jerseys to ensure their team can look and play as a team, during their local rugby season.

Joining long-time sponsors FC Lawyers (formerly Ferguson Cannon Lawyers) are current University of the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union Club sponsors 919 SeaFM and 927 MixFM. Together, the three organisations have sponsored USC Rugby for many years and continue to sponsor to ensure local sporting organisations can continue to grow and develop juniors, colts, women’s and men’s rugby players on the Sunshine Coast.

It was a lovely gesture from the USC Rugby club to donate the jerseys to the Fijian team and you can see from the photo just how much it meant to the players involved in getting a uniform that they can play rugby union in. The jersey donation is just a small way we can give back to people and communities in a small way, that makes such a big difference to others.

We look forward to hearing how the Fijian team continues to grow and hopefully wins their local rugby competition.
