On Saturday 27th July 2019, FC Lawyers attended The STEPS 30th Anniversary Grand Winter Ball hosted at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, Twin Waters.
The night showcased the true community spirit of the Sunshine Coast, bringing together the generous business community with VIPs, dignitaries, families, supporters and volunteers for a stunning night of glamour!
The event celebrated diversity and inclusiveness and most importantly, we raised funds to continue to change the lives of people living with a disability.
STEPS celebrated our people: the students, families, supporters and a community of amazing people who so generously give to make this world a better place, by focussing on ability and not disability.
The STEPS Grand Winter Ball had Shelley Craft emcee for the evening and ensure the night went smoothly for the attendees. Shelley and the team at STEPS drew individuals, businesses and families together to highlight the challenges, progress and success of what STEPS has achieved to date and what the future holds.
Throughout the night, we were treated to musical performances from Paulini, Sunshine Dance Troupe and The Kitty Kats. Well done also must go to Grant Smith from Century 21 Buderim for his auction skills and fundraising efforts on the evening. π€πΆπ΅
FC Lawyers also managed to win some of the silent auction items which went to raise funds for the upcoming projects that STEPS looks to undertake and complete.
We would like to thank STEPS and the volunteers, Sunshine Coast Convention Centre and their team and everyone involved in the 30th Anniversary Grant Winter Ball for 2019. Our team thoroughly enjoyed the night of fun, laughter, dancing, networking and fundraising.
We look forward to attending the Grand Winter Ball next year.
