Do you have any nicknames?

Rey, I was called ‘Rey-Rey’ in the Australian Army, I was also called ‘Jun-jun’ when I was growing up.


What is your position at FC Lawyers?

Migration Lawyer and Registered Migration Agent


What did you do previously before working at FC Lawyers?

Tax accountant, migration agent and law student


What was your first job?

Customer Service Representative at AVIS Car Rental


At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?

Lacoste Clothing Store or Nike Factory Outlet


What is your favourite music genre and top 3 artists/bands of all time?

Rock or Rap. Nirvana, Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur


What was the best concert you have attended?

Linkin Park around 2008 (Hybrid Theory/Meteora days)


What is your favourite food and drink?

Pizza and Lemon Iced-Tea


Have you had your 15 minutes of fame yet?

Many times when I was in the Australian Army.


Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Jesus Christ


Do you have a favourite charity you wish more people knew about?

Yes. My wife and I have a charity in the Philippines where we help juvenile children and victims of child abuse.

People who talk too loud.

Going to church every Sunday then eat lunch together.

Batman’s sidekick, Robin.

Give 10% to charities and buy real estate properties with the rest.

Brown Staffy dog named Blue. Friend in the Australian Army gave that name. She said red-neck Aussies call a person with blonde hair as Blue.

Redemption Song by Bob Marley.

Philadelphia 76ers right now.


If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?



What TV show or movie do you absolutely refuse to watch? Why?

Any Brad Pitt movie except ‘Fight Club’. He is a terrible actor.


How do you wind down after work?

Watch NBA games in my NBA League Pass.


What job would you be terrible at?

Car mechanic.


Have you ever had to “unlearn” something in your professional life? What was it?

I had to unlearn using Australian Army words like IRT (in regards to), COB (close of business), IAW (in accordance with), convo (conversation) etc…when writing emails.


What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?

Being a lawyer is not how good you are with legislation or litigation but how good you are when dealing with difficult people. – From my father.
